From time to time Shoreline Films in Barrow-in-Furness get in touch asking us to pass on details of events and film-making courses they're running. These are usually free or dirt cheap, run by professionals in the industry, and all-in-all A Good Thing - but for the usual funding-related reasons only open to people who live in Cumbria.
